Mary Seacole Memorial Association hosts 41st ceremony

On Saturday 7th May 2022, the Mary Seacole Memorial Association (MSMA) will be hosting their 41st anniversary, annual commemorative service in memory of Mary Seacole.

MSMA are a charity that seeks to promote Mary’s life and work whilst also raising funds for the upkeep of her grave and hosting a wreath laying ceremony in May every year.

The service on 7th May 2022 will take place at 11am outside the chapel within St Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Harrow Road, Kensal Green NW10 5NU following by a procession to Mary Seacole’s graveside to lay wreaths and flowers.

The Church Service of Commemoration starts at 12 midday at St Mark’s Church Hall on the corner of Bathurst Gardens and All Souls Avenue, Kensal Rise NW10 5HX.

There will then be a lunch at a cost of £15 per person.
