“You’re a leader now” | MST Trustee Karen Bonner gives advice to students

Student nurses, midwives and nursing associates who aspire to be leaders in the future need to recognise they are leaders already and can make changes at every level, says Karen Bonner, chief nurse at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust and MST Trustee.

Karen shares her advice with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) in their newsletter that she wishes she could have given herself as a student nurse and some great advice for students from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds who aspire to be leaders in the future.
